When a family hobby becomes family business

When someone becomes passionate about a hobby that they love, they aspire to do it whenever time allows or make it a daily habit. This is how Tiki Custom Apparel came to be. Brenda has been sewing for over 35 years, anything from small home projects to custom prom dresses, wedding dress alterations and complete custom upholstery replacement of boats.

Brenda was a professional seamstress for many years, but continued her craft as a hobby ever since. She always dreamt of having a business and doing what she loves. She is the backbone and the master of all creations. Along with her daughter, Dian, and her son-in-law, Aaron, they have created a small home based custom apparel business.

Dian has many years of experience with software programs, computers and IT work and Aaron brings years of computerized drafting, networking and the daily horsepower with him to the business as well. Together they operate with a passion for bringing customer's apparel ideas and creations to life on any type of garment of their choosing. Upholstery, alterations and custom embroidery is how it started and it is changing and growing as they expand their services to meet the needs of their customers.
